trunk or treat
On Saturday we carved pumpkins and then went to trunk or treat at the church. The girls had fun and brought home quite the haul of candy. Tim and I even dressed up, it was fun. Now get to do it all over again on Halloween Night. yeah.

sick and shots
Tim had the flu and was sicker than I have ever seen him. We had to take him to the ER. He was very dehydrated and had a fever of 103. I still think that is might have been food poisoning. He is finally starting to feel like himself again. So far now one else has gotten the flu. Thank heavens.
Laura got her shots for her 15 month checkup. Poor little girl has a fever last night and it pretty miserable today. It breaks my heart to see her suffer.
The girls are so excited for Halloween. Rachel will be a bride, Sarah and black cat, Emily a cowgirl and Laura will be a lion. We'll see if Laura actually keeps the hat on though.

Hello!
Well we have finally gotten on the blogger bandwagon! I thought I would update everyone on what is happening in our family.
They girls all love their teachers and are making friends in their classes. The first day they were all gone and it was just me and Laura the house seemed so quiet but I sure got used to that fast. They are all taking piano and ballet and Rachel is still taking harp, she is getting pretty good.
The basement is all sheetrocked and textured and painted. Once all the doors are in we will be ready for the carpet. It is so exciting to see an end to this basement project. Tim has spent so much time making sure that everything in the basement is just right. He did most of the work himself, he had a lot of people help him too. He is in the elders quorum now and I miss not being able to see him in primary. He is busy with work and works so hard to support our family.
Laura is 15 months old now and is walking and exploring everything. She is quite the little dancer too. She is such a sweet baby and is pretty content most of the time. I love being able to have some time with her alone while the girls are at school. The girls love to play with Laura too. Laura likes to go up and down the stairs, but she still tumbles down the stairs every once in a while. She does this funny thing where she will bend over and stand on her head and look at you between her legs and laugh. She is so funny. She still sucks her two fingers and twirls her hair with her other hand. People always comment on how cute it is that she does that, I have to agree but then I am a little biased. She is a little small for her age but we think she is just right for us. :)
I am still doing pictures and enjoy being able to do something I love. I am always learning and hope to be able to continue to improve my skills. You can check out my photography website at www.thecreativecorner.com.
I can't believe Rachel is in 4th grade and the twins are in 2nd grade, they are growing up so fast. Rachel loves to read, she is reading the Little House on the Prairie books again. Rachel is right here, she says "I like to go to school a lot and I like my teacher Ms. Ellis. She has dark brown hair and often wears skirts." Rachel wears skirts to school a lot too.
That is all for now. We hope all is well everyone and hope to hear from you.
